NTX (์ํฐ์์ค) is a South Korean boygroup consisting of 8 members: (left to right) Xiha, Eunho, Seungwon, Rawhyun, Changhun, Yunhyeok, Hyeongjin, and Hojun. [ Group Name ]NTX is an acronym for NEO TRACKS NOยฐX, which have the meaning unknown boys pioneering new musical ways. Back when they debuted as a 10 membered group, the letter X referred to the Roman numeral, which is 10. However, since they are now 8 membered, the meaning of "X" was changed to "unknown number"[ Fandom ]On March 17, 2021, they announced the official name of the fandom, NTFUL (์ํฐํ). NTX members started being trainees of Victory Company as members of a project called NT9, which would later be changed to NTX. The group had 10 members: (back row) Hojun, Yunhyeok, Jiseong, Hyeongjin, Changhun, (front row) Rawhyun, Eunho, Xiha, Gihyun, and Seungwon.During their predebut days, they were active in having vlives and predebut contents on youtube, including nine self produced mixtapes. However, all of them had been privated at this point.Starting from 28th August until November 28th of 2020, they released a total of four pre-debut singles and promoted them on music shows. Two of them, Magic Shoes and Ubimuhwan were self produced by members Jiseong and Rawhyun.Their debut had been estimated for January 2021, but the company wanted to be able to have an online and offline schedule for the group's debut, and due to covid guidelines at that time, they were unable to do that. Their debut was then delayed to March of the same year.
NTX finally debuted on March 30th, 2021 with the album "Full of Lovescapes" featuring the title track Kiss The World and all of their predebut songs and some new songs as the b-side. However, after finishing Kiss The World's promotions, NTX suddenly went on an indefinite hiatus instead.During this hiatus, they had no schedule, no comeback, stopped doing lives, and also stopped writing on the fancafe. The only update and communication they had were twitter and instagram posts, but even those were barely there, a contrast to their active predebut days.
In the middle of their hiatus, Jiseong participated in the survival show Wild Idol airing on MBC, under the pseudonym of contestant #9. The show ran from September to December 2021, and Victory Company focused on promoting him while he was in the show. He made it to the final lineup, which lends him a position in the project group TAN. While he continued being active promoting in the group, there was still no sign of activities nor news from NTX.Jiseong would then continue his activities as TAN while still being an inactive member of NTXโuntil much later in December 2024, where it's announced that Jiseong officially withdrawed from NTX
There were finally activities for NTX again starting July of 2022, after more than a year, when they had an appearance on the show LIVE.ON where they performed a new unreleased track at that time. However, only 7 members appeared, the members excluded being Jiseong, who is actively promoting in TAN, Hojun, which was announced to have been recovering from an injury since March 2022, and Gihyun. The reason for Gihyun's absence that time was unknown.Around the same time, came the news of them having a Japan Live Tour. The tour lasted from August until September 2022 with 8 members participating, as Hojun already recovered from his injury.
On November that year, after 1 year and 8 months, there were finally news of NTX making a comeback, however this news was also accompanied by the news of member Gihyun leaving the group due to personal reasons.They finally made the comeback as 8 members on 23rd November 2022 with the single "Latecomer" featuring 2 tracks, the title track being "Old School," the unreleased song previously performed on their LIVE.ON appearance. It was later revealed that the comeback was planned to be earlier, but was delayed due to internal circumstances. Financial struggle was also mentioned.Unlike their previous album, the songs from this comeback and the newer unreleased songs performed for the Japan tour were all fully self produced, mostly by member Rawhyun. This signaled a new start for the team, rebranding themselves with a new musical color crafted by their own. They were especially determined to show their growth after their long disappearance, proving that the hiatus was not in vain.

If you still want to read it, just click on it)On February 2023, a teaser revealed NTX as one of the contestants for the survival show PEAK TIME airing on JTBC, with the pseudonym "team 02:00 (two o'clock) / ํ 2์ (team du-shi)". Every contestant in the show was given such name and have their real team names hidden.Peak Time is a show dedicated for "those who didn't have a chance to make themselves known to the public." The contestats, which consists of active groups who are in need for a boost in exposure, rookies looking for a headstart, or suspended groups looking for a second chance, compete as a group with the winning award being money, an album release, and a tour for the top 6.The show aired from February until April 2023. However, the auditions had actually started since June 2022 and the first recording of the show dated back in November 2022.

NTX have constantly mentioned both their return after the hiatus and peak time as a new start for them. What they've been through allowed them to grow both personally and musically, and also understand both themselves and the team better.Since their return, they have become a lot more active. They have gigs and comebacks, are actively posting on social media, having lives, and has been posting and replying a lot on bstage. They also currently have dear U bubble accounts, where they are actively communicating with NTFULS.They are also being productive by constantly releasing self-produced songs on soundcloud and choreographies across social media platforms, among other miscellaneous cover contents. They've also shown more confidence and excitement for future plans and whats ahead.With a clearer direction, new experiences, and more confidence in their art, NTX's story continues.
